Terms & Conditions
Plan Memberships
Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before using our services.
- Both plans (Gold and Premium) are based on a monthly subscription based, which will be automatically renewed every month. (To know more about the “pause feature” and our cancellation policies, please consult the below section “Plan pause, re-activation and cancellation.“)
- To activate a plan, it is requested the full payment in advance. Nothing will ever be initiated and then delivered unless the entire project is paid. Payments for the membership plans cannot be split.
- All communications, file uploads and deliveries will be done in Trello.
There is no set amount of revisions or request that the client can submit per month. But as a rule, the client can submit only one request at a time. This allows Asja Geppini Studio to dedicate to each request the proper time it deserves as we aim to deliver only the best quality. As soon as the previous request has been delivered, Asja Geppini Studio will start working on the new one.
Any additional request can be submit at any time. Just keep in mind that they will be added as a queue.
- Each request will be completed and delivered within 48 to 72 hours, during our working hours (Mon-Friday 09:00-18:00 and Saturday 09:00-13:00 Italy time – CEST). A client can submit a new request at any time, but its timing will start during our business hours.
- Each delivery is digital and accessible as an instant download.
- Active collaboration from the client throughout the entire process is essential for the success of the project. If the client is unresponsive (to share review notes, reply to any question, or provide information related to the project) Asja Geppini Studio will not be help responsible for any delay in the delivery.
- Once the final digital patterns and the 3D sample of the base size requested are delivered, the client must mandatorily physically sew at least one sample (with the final fabric or an extremely similar one) and fit it on a model.
- Asja Geppini Studio will never proceed with grading unless the base size was physically sew, fitted, reviewed by the client and approved.
- As per standard 3D clothing development process, please expect adjustments to be made after the first physical sample is sewn. Even though CLO 3D Software is very accurate, there always are changes to be made on the first physical prototype. This derives from the fabric used, the sewing techniques, the model’s measurements or simply the customers’ desire to modify the design itself (as well as other factors).
- The plans don’t include: printing cost of each pattern, cost for the realization of the physical prototype and anything else not mentioned in the package description.
- If the customer requests the Digital Patterns in a DXF file, to send it to the factory Asja Geppini Studio will not be help responsible for any errors. This comes from the fact that 99 % of the time, factories modify / adjust the patterns based on their own standards, machines or size charts, without telling the designer or the pattern maker. We strongly recommend you only share PDF files with factories if you have not any previous experience with them.
- Asja Geppini and Asja Geppini Studio will not be held responsible for factory internal misunderstanding or production faults. If factory has a doubt in regards to the patterns, must always contact Asja Geppini Studio before keep working on the sample.
- Purchasing any service from Asja Geppini Studio the customer will automatically accept the Terms & Conditions, and policies stated in this page.
Plan pause, re-activation and cancellation.
A plan can be paused or cancelled at any time.
- A plan can be paused and reactivated directly in Trello. Pause maximum: 6 months. To pause and re-activate a plan, the client must go inside the Trello system under the section “Plan Actions”. To pause a plan the client must write “Paused date” followed by the date, month and year in which he/she would like to pause the membership. To re-activate a plan, the client must write “Re-activation date” followed by the date, month and year in which he/she would like to re-activate the membership. He/she can then directly submit a request. Keep in mind that billing cycles are based on 31-day period. If for example: the client uses the service for 18 days and would like to pause it, he/she still have 13 days of service remaining to be used within the next 6 months.
- A plan can be cancelled at any point during the monthly cycle, but the subscription will remains active until the end of your billing period. Meaning that a client can decide to stop the subscription at the end of the months, but still use Asja Geppini Studio services included in that plan until the last day of the billing period.
Refund Policy
Due to the very nature of the high quality services offered (bespoke and digital downloads) no refunds are issued at any point. If you’d like to work with us on a smaller project before stepping into a membership plan, you can buy a service singularly or as a package. In fact, for all Design Development projects, we have ready-design packages, which include multiple services. Check them out below. (“A la carte” services: asjageppinistudio.com/price-list/ and Ready Design packages: asjageppinistudio.com/design-packages )
Patterns Delivery Important information (for both plans):
- The final delivery (after revisions) of Digital Samples (for both plans) will include: working file (DXF), printing file (PDF), patterns preview (PDF), important information (PDF), fabrics preview on patterns (PDF). All digital patterns follow the industry standards and are therefore completed with: seam allowances, grain lines, notches, annotations, pattern information (type of garment, pattern piece name, size and number of times it must be cut), facing and linings. No sewing instructions will be provided. Below the differences between a DXF and PDF file.
- DXF: (short for Drawing Exchange Format) is a type of vector file. Meaning that, if open with a AutoCad software any change can be applied to the patterns. It’s a “working file” in which the patterns are placed flat on the page based on their sewing construction. Please keep in mind that you will need a AutoCad Software (like CLO 3D, Gerber, Lectra) to open the file. Important: Meaning this file do not include printing placement.
- PDF: file ready to be professionally printed in which the Digital Patterns are placed with the purpose of saving much paper as possible while printing. This means that the grain lines are not parallel to each other because this is a printing placement only and DO NOT represent the cutting placement (lay plan) on fabric. The printing page has a standard width of 100 cm (as a standard plotter) and length will depend on the garment complexity. (This is not a working file, meaning that you cannot change the patterns, but just print them.)
Software used to produce Digital Patterns CLO 3D.
3D Samples delivery Important information (for both plans):
- The final delivery (after revisions) of 3D Samples (for both plans) will include: HD images of the 3D sample front, sides, back + 2/3 focus areas, and one 360° turnaround video. The images will consist in 3 png HD files per colorways: each file contains 7/8 3D garment views. First file: 3D sample on a made-to-measure avatar. Second file: 3D sample without avatar. Third file: 3D sample with white surface and all sewing lines highlighted in black.
- To review the 3D sample in the development phase, the client will receive HD images of the 3D sample and one 360° turnaround video as described above. It will not be delivered the Digital Patterns in this phase as they are not relevant. (A patterns preview can be sent if requested by the client.)
Delivery turnaround time.
We complete and deliver a request within 48 to 72 hours, during our working days (Mon-Friday 09:00-18:00 and Saturday 09:00-13:00 Italy time – CEST). Keep in mind that, more complex requests can take longer. Also, as we are humans and life / emergencies can happen, rarely a project can be delivered in delay. In the rare event that it happens, we’ll make sure will not cause any problem to your company and will do our best to keep you on track with your project.
Important: if the client is unresponsive or delays in replying questions during those 48 – 72 hours period, Asja Geppini Studio will not be help responsible for a delayed delivery date. Only the client is responsible gor that.
Gold Plan important information:
- The Gold plan only include 2 services: Digital Pattern Making and 3D sampling. Any requested services will not be applied.
- The client can request unlimited revision of a 3D sample and Digital Patterns, can request unlimited designs and can add unlimited colorways and prints versions.
- A Size Chart is needed for Asja Geppini Studio to create Digital Patterns, 3D samples and made-to-measure avatar.
-If the client already have a Size Chart or the base size’ measurements, we’ll use that directly
-If the client doesn’t have a Size Chart and don’t know the measurements of your base size, we have multiple options to choose from based on the selling market and body type.
- Grading is not included in the plan, meaning that for each design it will be created only one size (chosen by the client).
- A sketch, a reference image or a tech pack is needed to produce the 3D sample.
-If the client have a sketch or a tech pack, we kindly ask to include an overview description of the garment.
-If you the client doesn’t have a sketch or tech pack, but you know exactly how the garment should look like, that’s also totally fine. In this case, to share his/her vision with us, the client will just have to send over good reference images and a clear description of the garment.
-If instead the client need some help / guidance from our side to define the design, it should be selected the Premium Plan or purchase that service singularly.
